On May 1, a video titled “30-Minute Interview with G-Dragon Backstage 1 Hour Before BIGBANG’s Coachella Performance” was released on the YouTube channel “Solomon Chord.”
Hwang Kwanghee revealed he flew 12 hours to meet G-Dragon, requesting only a short interview.
“I’ll just film for 30 minutes and leave,” Kwanghee insisted.
Surprisingly, G-Dragon had agreed immediately—though he later admitted: “I didn’t think you’d actually come.”
Kwanghee expressed gratitude, saying G-Dragon accepted his request without hesitation despite his packed schedule preparing for Coachella.
G-Dragon casually responded : “You asked just once, so I said yes once.”
Even with the pressure of a global stage, he honored the promise—highlighting their long-standing friendship.
When asked about nerves, G-Dragon appeared unfazed: “I’m not nervous. It’s just been a while since performing with the members.”

When Kwanghee revealed he had over 10,000 photos of G-Dragon, the idol laughed: “That sounds about right.”
