TWICE‘s Jeongyeon is garnering attention for returning to her prime after successfully losing weight and overcoming the side effects of steroids.

On the 26th, Jeongyeon posted a video on her social media with the caption, “You got caught by me.” The video is a fancam capturing Jeongyeon on stage at a TWICE concert, and her visuals in an off-shoulder mini dress are drawing attention.
What catches the eye most is Jeongyeon’s body and face, which appear significantly slimmer than before. Previously, Jeongyeon took steroids in 2020 while undergoing treatment for a herniated cervical disc.

She experienced drastic weight fluctuations due to the side effects. However, Jeongyeon persistently combined consistent treatment with exercise, and recently, along with her successful diet, she has regained her perfect “prime beauty.”
On the 24th, she also drew attention for confidently wearing a mini skirt. On this day, TWICE departed for Tokyo, Japan, via Seoul Gimpo International Airport for their “THIS IS FOR” concert schedule.
Jeongyeon paired a denim miniskirt with a white t-shirt, a matching windbreaker, and white sneakers, exuding a lively charm with her updo hairstyle.
In the past, when Jeongyeon gained weight due to steroid side effects, she wore comfortable clothes or focused on pants to cover her body; however, after successfully losing weight, she confidently wore a miniskirt. Fans reacted by saying, “It feels like she has returned to her debut days.”

Having successfully lost weight, Jeongyeon is also preparing for her acting debut. Recently, an official from the film “New Recruit: The Movie” (directed by Min Jin-ki) released an official statement to OSEN, stating, “We offered Jeongyeon the role of a nurse officer, and both parties are currently reviewing it positively.”
If her appearance is confirmed, it will mark Jeongyeon’s first screen acting challenge in 10 years since TWICE’s debut, drawing significant attention to whether she will take on the role. Meanwhile, TWICE is successfully holding their sixth world tour, ‘THIS IS FOR’.
