Yubin

Introduction

Yubin is a South Korean singer and actress under WM Entertainment. She is best known as a member of the girl group OH MY GIRL and its sub-unit OH MY GIRL BANHANA. Formerly known by the stage name Binnie, she officially began promoting under her real name, Yubin, in January 2022.

Before debuting in the music industry, Yubin was active as a child actress. She appeared in the 2008 MBC drama I Love You, Don’t Cry, marking the start of her entertainment career. Her early experience in modeling and acting laid the groundwork for her later transition into Kpop.

Yubin made her idol debut on April 20, 2015, with OH MY GIRL’s self-titled mini album “Oh My Girl.” Known for her versatile image and vocal tone, she later joined the group’s playful sub-unit OH MY GIRL BANHANA, debuting on April 2, 2018, with the special album “Banana Allergy Monkey.”

In 2022, WM Entertainment announced that she would be promoting under her birth name, Yubin, to better reflect her evolving identity as an artist. Since then, she has continued to participate in group activities and expand her presence in both music and acting.
