YooA is a South Korean singer, dancer, and actress currently signed with Saram Entertainment. She is best known as the main dancer, lead vocalist, and face of the girl group OH MY GIRL, which debuted under WM Entertainment on April 21, 2015, with the mini album “Oh My Girl.”
YooA gained additional public recognition through her appearances on popular Korean variety and performance shows. In 2016, she competed in Mnet’s Hit the Stage, where her performance was noted for its precision and style. That same year, she joined the Inkigayo project group Sunny Girls and released the single “Taxi.” In 2017, she participated in the drama-based reality program Idol Drama Operation Team, forming the temporary group Girls Next Door with the single “Deep Blue Eyes.”
YooA made her official solo debut with the mini album “Bon Voyage,” on September 7, 2020, showcasing a more ethereal and nature-inspired concept. The title track earned her a music show win on The Show, marking her success as a solo artist. She also released the OST “Rocket to the Moon” for the animated Netflix film Over the Moon later that month.
On June 2, 2025, she signed with Saram Entertainment to focus on her career as an actress, officially concluding her contract with WM Entertainment.
