Mimi

Introduction

Mimi is a South Korean rapper, singer-songwriter, and television personality signed with WM Entertainment. She is the main rapper, main dancer, and vocalist of the girl group OH MY GIRL, and one-half of the project duo MNZ.

She debuted as a member of OH MY GIRL on April 21, 2015, with the group’s self-titled debut mini album “Oh My Girl.” Known for her sharp rap delivery and stage presence, Mimi quickly became a standout member within the kpop community.

In 2022, Mimi expanded her presence through variety television. She joined the cast of Earth Arcade, a travel-based variety show on TvN, alongside An Yujin, Lee Youngji, and Lee Eun-ji. The show, produced by Na Young-seok, was well-received and returned for a second season in 2023.

She also competed in the vocal survival show The Second World in August 2022, which featured rappers showcasing their vocal ability. Mimi placed 3rd in the final episode, earning praise for her versatility as both a rapper and singer.

In July 2024, it was reported that Mimi and comedian Lee Eun-ji would debut as the project duo MNZ. They are reportedly in the final stages of preparing their first release, marking Mimi’s formal venture into collaborative music projects beyond OH MY GIRL.
