Jung Ahyeon is a South Korean singer, rapper, and dancer under YG Entertainment. She is best known for being a member of the girl group BABYMONSTER.
On November 15, 2023, it was announced that she temporarily left the team due to health reasons and BABYMONSTER will debut as a six-member group. However, it was later confirmed by YG that Ahyeon will remain a member of the group but will not participate in debut activities due to health issues.
On January 25, 2024, YG Entertainment announced that Ahyeon would be rejoining BABYMONSTER due to improvements in her health and she would be participating in the group’s then upcoming mini album in April. Ahyeon later debuted on April 1st, 2024, with the mini album “BABYMONS7ER” from which the already-released singles “Batter Up” and “Stuck In The Middle” were re-recorded to include Ahyeon.
On January 15, 2023, Ahyeon was revealed as the second member of BABYMONSTER. The group officially debuted on March 31, 2024, with their mini album “BABYMONS7ER”.
