Held on January 24 at the YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, the 2025 Choreo Awards marked its second edition. Co-organized by the Korea Choreography Copyright Association, Grigo Entertainment, Danstruct, and 1MILLION, the ceremony aimed to support choreographers and elevate societal understanding of the value of dance copyrights.
The grand prize went to renowned dance crew WDBZ (We Dem Boyz), while ‘like JENNIE‘ took home the award for Best K-pop Choreography of the Year.
Individual accolades were also presented. KYOKA was named Dance Star of the Year, with JIN and Locker Zee winning the Best Male and Female Dancer awards, respectively. Popular dance content platform STUDIO CHOOM received the Dance Impact of the Year award.
The association emphasized that the awards are part of a broader mission to foster an environment where choreographic creations are properly respected. They pledged continued efforts to improve awareness and establish a stronger institutional foundation for choreography copyrights.
The event was supported by multiple corporate sponsors, including TEAM SAME and Lotte Chilsung.
