Amid some backlash over her appearance in an interview, actress Kim Tae Hee has since talked about her “aging” visual—addressing her wrinkles, as well as her mindset as she comes face to face with them.

In the latest episode of You Quiz On The Block, Kim Tae Hee revealed that she liked her appearance in her 30s the most (when she starred in the blockbuster K-Drama, IRIS).

Appearance-wise? I liked myself the most in my 30s. I feel like I was the prettiest around then.

Then, the actress admitted that she might continue finding more flaws in her appearance as she ages…
Of course, as I get older, there will naturally be more parts I start to not like about the way I look. But I think it’s something I have no choice but to accept.

…though she hoped that her fans would be able to accept her as she comes.

And as for the wrinkles that come from smiling a lot… I can only hope that people can see them in a positive and beautiful way!

As this comes after Kim Tae Hee’s Butterfly interview that garnered scathing comments from netizens who thought she “looked old” now, her fans are expressing appreciation toward the actress having chosen to embrace aging and the natural changes that come with growing older.

- “Even the way she embraces aging is beautiful… There’s no artificial or overdone vibe, just a soft and natural beauty. Time has passed a little, but Kim Tae Hee is still basically a proper noun for beauty in Korea.”
- “You’re already so beautiful, I don’t know how much more beautiful you can be seen!”
- “When I first saw Kim Tae Hee as a kid, I thought, ‘She must be the most beautiful person in the world.’ Now that I’m older… I still think Kim Tae Hee is the most beautiful!”
- “No matter what anyone says, Kim Tae Hee is Korea’s undisputed No.1 beauty LOL.”
- “Wow… She’s so beautiful that I honestly have nothing to say…”
