IVE will release its second full-length album “REVIVE+” on major music sites at 6 p.m. on the 23rd. It will start performing with the title song “BLACKHOLE.”
IVE foreshadowed a deeper message. Until now, the story has been focused on “me.” Through “REVIVE+,” the story expands from “me” to “we.”
‘BLACKHOLE’ is the song at the center of the narrative. It newly defines the existence of ‘we’. It presents a message of independent solidarity to move forward together beyond individual confidence.
They raised expectations by releasing a concept photo (Bangers) on the 18th. The keyword for this content, ‘Banger’, is an expression meaning a song with strong addictiveness and energy.
IVE solved this with dynamic poses and visuals. An Yu-jin, Gaeul, Rei, Jang Won-young, Liz, and Leeseo performed different styles. They intuitively expressed their energy.
The new album contains a total of 12 tracks, showcasing a diverse range of genres, including “Hide and Seek,” “Malicious Code,” “Firework,” and “Hot Coffee,” foreshadowing IVE’s increasingly mature musical style.
The six members will also showcase their unique solo tracks. Jang Won-young captivatingly delivered “8.” Gaeul’s “Ode” showcases her dreamy vocals. Leeseo delivers energy with “Super Icy.”
Liz delivers a passionate performance of “Unreal,” showcasing the alternative rock texture. Rei delivers trilingual lyrics on “In Your Heart.” An Yu-jin showcases her confident charm with “Force.”
Meanwhile, IVE pre-released “BANG BANG” on the 9th. It captivated listeners with its powerful and addictive beat, sweeping the top ranks of major domestic music streaming sites.
