Seunghee is a South Korean singer and actress under WM Entertainment. She is best known as the main vocalist of the girl group OH MY GIRL, which debuted on April 21, 2015, with the mini album “Oh My Girl.”
Prior to debut, Seunghee was active in several national singing competitions, gaining early recognition for her vocal talent. She appeared on Korea Sings in 2007 and Superstar K2 in 2010, where she advanced to Super Week. Her strong vocals earned her the nickname “Little BoA” after a standout appearance on Star King. She trained under Brave Entertainment before joining WM Entertainment in 2014, where she also contributed backing vocals to Sunmi’s track “Full Moon.”
Seunghee began her acting career in 2015 with a role in the web drama Loss:Time:Life. In July 2016, she competed in Girl Spirit, a vocal survival show that aimed to showcase underrated vocalists from lesser-known girl groups. In 2019, she joined King of Mask Singer under the alias “Zoo,” once again highlighting her vocal range and skill.
From 2020 onward, Seunghee expanded into variety and hosting. She starred in the sports-themed variety program Not Soccer or Baseball alongside athletes Park Chan-ho and Lee Young-pyo. In 2021, she co-hosted the relationship and lifestyle reality show Friends, appearing with Kim Hee-chul, Shindong, and Lee Sang-min.
Beyond entertainment, Seunghee has been active in philanthropy. In December 2022, she donated 20 million KRW to the Korea Childhood Cancer Foundation through the Million Angels Sharing initiative, contributing to the treatment and care of children with cancer.
